Eating time

Robbie when he was first learning to eat. It is amazing how much Robbie and Lexie look alike when they were babies.

So the other day I was feeding Lexie dinner and I went to my bedroom to give something to Rich real quick. When I came back to the kitchen Robbie had taken over the feeding for me. I was so surprised that he was doing this, normally he could careless what Lexie is doing as long as it doesn't interfere with him getting attention. He was so cute that I continued to let him feed her even though he was getting more on her chin then in her mouth.

Christmas in Idaho

This year we went up to Idaho to spend Christmas with Rich's family. It was fun to watch Robbie get excited to open his presents. He wasn't to thrilled about opening Lexie's presents since mostly she got clothes, but it was funny to see his cute little expressions. Christmas is always better with little kids anyway don't you agree?

Camden and Lexie hanging out. Can you believe he is 2 months younger and bigger than Lexie. He is a cute chubby baby.
Aunt Lindsay and I just happened to dress our kids in similar fashion on Christmas day and we did not plan it that way. We couldn't resist taking a few pictures when they came over to hang out with us.
Robbie with his new toy train from Grandma Williams.
Grammy Muse holding Lexie in her cute red Christmas jammies.
Lexie being her little smiley self.
Lexie in her santa hat and dress. I have a feeling that she won't give me any problems taking lots of cute pictures.
The camera lighting was poor in this shot, but I thought she was cute in her little hoodie.
You can tell that Robbie was just thrilled to get another picture taken (lol). Oh well, one day I will catch his smile on camera.

Lexie will probably be a daddy's girl since Robbie is a mommy's boy right now.Grandpa Lee and Lexie exhausted from a long Christmas day.

My beautiful daughter

On November 1st my beautiful daughter Alexis Jaeden Muse was blessed by her Father Richard. I can't believe she has only been with us for a couple of months now. We are so blessed to have her in our family and I can't get enough of her cute giggles and smiles.

Lexie and mommy getting ready for church and her big day.

First we put Lexie in her tiny white tights with little ruffles on her bottom. Lexie in her white slip and her pretty smile!

The white flower seemed to overpower her head so we opted out and went to the next option.

We couldn't decide which accessory to put on her. The hat that is came with was too pioneer like although Rich and I had a good laugh with her in it. You can tell she was pretty scared about this one.

Finally we picked the simple white bow since her head it still too little.

Lexie all decked out and ready to be blessed.

She does have eyelashes and eyebrows, they are just very blonde. My precious little girl.

If only I could get both kids too look at the camera and hold still. One day I will get the shot.

Better Late than Never

I ended up getting this the day of Halloween at Children's Place for like 2 dollars so I couldn't resist dressing her up even though it is a little big on her.

My favorite part about Robbie's costume is his big claw feet that go over his shoes. Old Navy always has the cutest little costumes!

My first Halloween jammies/outfit.

The cute cousins Addie and Katie and Ethan below!

Okay, I am finally getting around to posting some Halloween pictures. Robbie was a dragon this year and Lexie was a flower. We drove up to Heber for Halloween this year to go trick or treating with the cousins. Robbie really enjoyed eating the candy out of his pumpkin this year. He didn't get a very good nap that day, so he was pretty tired and couldn't quite keep up with his cousins. Lexie was just content to sleep in mommy and daddy's arms. It was a fun night overall!

Family Fall photos

A lot has happened since Lexie was born. I feel like I am so behind. Here are some family photos that Lori took of us in Bridal Veil Falls. If anyone needs their pictures taken, Lori (my sister-in-law) does a great job for an affordable price. I will be posting some Halloween pictures when I can pull them off of my father-in-law's camera.

She's Here

After being a week overdue, we ended up going to the hospital to be induced and all turned out well. I am happy that my labor was only nine and a half hours opposed to the twenty-three hours it took to get Robbie here. Plus I only had to push for 15 min. opposed to over 2 hours. I was pretty happy with the overall process. Plus my epidural didn't run out this time, so it was a lot less painful. We were pretty worried when Lexie came out with the epidural wrapped around her neck twice and the fact that she was holding it. It was almost like she was strangling herself. Luckily it did not harm her or do any permanent damage other than she was really purple the first few days. I think she looks a lot like Robbie when he was born, so we are curious to see how she turns out as her features develop more. We are just so grateful that she is a pretty mellow baby and that she is healthy and well. Here are her stats in case you are interested: Alexis Jaeden Muse was born on Sept. 14th at 5:54Pm weighing 7.12 ounces and she is 20 inches long.

Fast asleep in her little bassinette.

She wasn't too happy in this picture, can you tell?

Lexie's first sponge bath.

Her look kills me. She makes me laugh with all her funny faces.

I might get a chubby baby this time, I can see her double chin is already forming.

Lexie's first car ride home.
Preparing to leave the hospital on Thursday morning in her first girlie outfit.
Robbie meeting baby Lexie for the first time.
Papa holding Lexie and giving her lots of kisses.

Lexie getting her first check-up and we are so lucky that she is healthy and well.

Still waiting

While I am anxiously waiting my little girl's arrival. I decided to post a few things of what we've
been up to lately. I made it through girls camp up at Bear Lake and it was a total blast. It was more like a relaxing vacation than camp. If I had to rough it, I probably would of been less likely to go considering how far along I am.

Lisa, Sara and I (pregnant girls) went for a princess ride on the weenie tube. We didn't fall in of course we had the choice to jump in or be pulled back to the boat. It was fun to watch the other girls get whipped around though.

Sara and I decided to go for a wave runner chase after giving all the beehives and the under age girls a ride around the lake. I am amazed that I was able to find a life jacket that could actually go around my belly.

Here is a shot of us leaders on the boat hanging out. (From left to right: me, Becky H., Sara A. and Lisa W.)

For our last playgroup of the summer we went to Thanksgiving Point (The Ancient Life Museum) and boy it was crowded. The kids seem to enjoy the dinosaurs and playing in the clay. Here is the best shot I could get, with a few of them looking.

This ancient shark on display was gargantuan. I would hate to be eaten by this shark or any shark in general, but especially this one.

Alas, Robbie was pooped and took a long nap. You will notice he fell asleep with Mr. Potato head glasses on his face and his hat. I think he was trying to imitate Mr. Potato Head. He obsessed with Mr. Potato Head and drawing faces lately. All the faces Rich and I draw for him have to wear glasses and have shoes. I blame his shoe fetish on daddy. As for glasses, I think he just likes the way they look on people.

On a side note, I got talked into performing "The Climb" by Miley Cyrus for YW in Excellence with a few other leaders. It is pretty comical, I have to admit. If you want to watch it click on the link below.
