Snowy Valentines

This year for Valentines we decided not to do much so we all shared a box of chocolates that I bought in January for 80% off after Christmas for like 2 dollars. I hate paying full price for anything if I can help it. Sometimes I will even negotiate certain items to the price I think they should be even if I am in another country. I remember one time in England I felt like our train fares were over priced. So I talked it over with the Brit to lower our fares in addition to the student discount we were already getting. I guess that is why my roommate in college use to call me Miss Savvy.

Back to Valentines. Robbie loved making little hearts for daddy and loved getting cute valentines from sweet Owen, Jill & Jaclyn. My lovely husband surprised me with a love letter which is really all I ever want anyway. All in all it was a good day for us.

I don't know what it is about the new snow that comes, but Robbie insists on trying it every time we step outside. Even if I carry him out to the garage to get in the car he sneaks off behind my back and I find him huddled over the snow picking up a new piece. I guess I can't blame him considering I use to always eat the snow when I was kid. Who am I kidding I still like to eat snow if it is clean that is.
